The day began with a ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Royal Oak, where family and friends gathered to witness Anna and Matt exchange vows and officially begin their next chapter together. While the forecast threatened a few sprinkles, the weather cooperated beautifully. And as the saying goes, rain on your wedding day is good luck—a little blessing that only adds to the story.
Anna was absolutely stunning in a timeless strapless gown, but her veil truly deserved its own moment. Adorned with delicate embellished florals, it added a romantic and elegant touch that perfectly complemented the day. Every detail felt intentional and effortlessly beautiful.
Matt looked equally handsome in his gray suit, bringing a classic yet modern style to the celebration. Together, they were the perfect pair.
One detail I especially loved was the bridal party’s look. The bridesmaids wore an assortment of lighter-colored dresses in varying styles, creating a soft, organic, and incredibly elegant aesthetic. The mix-and-match approach felt fresh and modern while allowing each bridesmaid’s personality to shine. Paired with pastel florals in light, bright summer hues, the overall effect was stunning.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to The Brooklyn in Detroit for cocktail hour and the reception. The venue’s warm atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for an evening full of laughter, celebration, and meaningful moments.

Dusty blue table runners accented the beautiful wood tables, while clusters of bud vases filled with soft florals added a light and airy feel. Gold candlesticks topped with real flames brought warmth and sophistication to the room. Anna and Matt thoughtfully incorporated family traditions throughout their celebration, ensuring loved ones were honored and remembered.
